Terrapin Release

My Marine Biology field class was able to release juvenile diamondback terrapins with Jennifer Frey at the Mississippi Department of marine Resources! They learned about the MDMR head-start program for our resident, estuarine turtle; why they are using nest-protectors, and how to properly notch (for identification) individuals, measure turtles, and identify terrapin tracks.
